Software Developer - Johannesburg

Salary: R20-50K CTC Per Month depending on experience

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for 4 x Software Developer (3 Intermediate and 1 Senior) with working experience in C# & SQL. This is a permanent position based in Kempton Park. The ideal candidate should have exposure and an understanding of how these industries operate, interact and the sense of urgency parameters within various projects for the group, including Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transport, Automotive, Trucking, Aviation, Medical, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare.  

Purpose of Position:

The successful candidate will be based on site at Elandsfontein and will report to the Executive Information Officer.

The opportunity to work from home will be considered on individual and/or project basis. The candidate should work well in coordination with cross-functional team members to design, develop, and maintain bespoke solutions for the business. The candidate must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects as we are currently migrating our systems across to more current, advanced technologies. 

Minimum Requirements:

• South African Citizen, Grade 12, Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Software development
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in C#
• Integration services knowledge
• Other Certifications related to Software & IT
• Proficiency in Web APIs, Queues and File Processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server & SQL queries/stored procedures
• Own transport
• Salary dependent on experience

Duties:

• Research, design, implement and maintain software programs and services.
• Create and maintain SQL Server database tables, functions and Stored Procedures.
• Implementation of Unit testing for new software modules and services.
• Determining operational practicality, identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
• Working closely with other developers as well as business.
• Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules.
• Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
