SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated Software Developer(Protocols) to join their growing team of engineers and developers.

POSITION INFO:

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

Requirements: If you do not meet the requirements for the role, your application will not be considered

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Development
A degree in B.Eng Electronic Engineering / B.Eng Computer Engineering / B.SC Computer Science (or similar) No diplomas will be considered.
Must have obtained at least 70% on all modules from 1st year to 3rd year (non-negotiable).
Must have experience writing embedded software in C++.
Must have experience in developing airborne software according to DO-178.
Experience in test-driven development
Must have knowledge of the OSI stack paradigm.
Must have experience with VOIP implementation on H.264.
Must have experience with IP and L3 Routing/MANET implementations.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of embedded software communication protocols. These protocols run on a variety of embedded platforms.
Development of Layer 2 and 3 protocol software components.
