We are looking for a Software Developer - SAP ABAP Developer for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time (Internationally) with a Valid Driverâ??s License.

Minimum educational level:

Degree in IT or relevant experience
ABAP Certification / K3

Â

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliant SAP ABAP Developments
Maintaining and optimising existing systems
Design and developing new systems / functionality
Creation of documents with regards to all system changes
Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and System Integration security tests
Analyse and solve problems
Must be able to develop from functional specifications and in some instances a business request

Skills and Experience:

We require a minimum 10 yearsâ?? work experience in:

ABAP Development including:
- Dialog Programming
- Module Programming
- ALV Reporting
- Smart forms
- Function Modules incl. RFCs
- Batch programming
- BAPI
- BADI
- BDC
- Smart Forms
- Field Exits
- User Exits
- Enhancement Points
- Object Oriented Programming
SAP UI5/Fiori skills will be advantageous
Solution Manager experience will be advantageous
Web services ODATA knowledge will be advantageous
S/4HANA Development Functional experience will be advantageous
An understanding of Material Master, Logistics and Material Planning will be
advantageous
SAP STARD PROTON experience will be advantageous
