Software Engineer

SUMMARY:
Software Engineering is the part of computer science that is too difficult for the computer scientist.

POSITION INFO:

A market leading company in the fleet management space is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Research and Development department. They are looking for someone that is well-versed in C#, .Net, React, and Bootstrap.

Job Description:

In this role you will design, code, debug and maintain application software and test harness code. You will also develop reusable code in accordance with the relevant system documentation and procedures. You will also be required to perform developer testing of newly developed/modified code prior to submission to software Testing Department.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5+ years in Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, Bootstrap, REACT, CSS, SQL, SSRS GIT, Azure (Required)

Formal system/software development experience

Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ and SQL scripting

Understand Entity Relationship diagramming

Knowledge on the following will be advantageous:

UML modeling tools

Design of Graphic User Interfaces

GSM and GPS technologies

Formal System Engineering and Quality Assurance concepts and procedures

Scrum

Web API

DEVOPS

Qualification:

B.Sc. (IT, Computer Science or Engineering) degree or equivalent (Advantageous)
