SUMMARY:

Software Engineer with a Masters/ degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with solid skills in C programming, Linux/Unix kernel Software . We require a person with a solid understanding of software architectures, scalability and reliability.

POSITION INFO:

Software Engineer MICROCHIP development

Location: Cape Town

Exciting new Product design at International Client. Software development on Linux/Unix. Company asist in the development of intelligent server adapters in cloud data center servers to boost performance by offloading CPUs in servers by performing network datapath processing

Qualification:

Master (desired) or Bachelor (required) degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Required experience and skills:

Proficient in C programming
Experience with Linux/Unix kernel internals is desired
Experience with development and debugging on a Linux platform required
Experience with designing and optimizing software
Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment is required

Work as part of a team to design, develop, debug, test and support high-performance networking software
