POSITION INFO:

Rapidly growing FinTech Company in Glasgow are looking for a couple of skilled Java Software Engineers to join their growing Dev Team (Opportunity to work fully remote or onsite). Help contribute to their soon-to-be market leading product that''s developed with an array of modern technologies.

The company have been running for a years now, but already have several highly reputable clients backing them, and are very secure from a financial perspective. Their current platform is still being developed - so it''s a great time to come onboard, where you will have the opportunity to really help shape this going forward.

The current Development team sits at roughly 7 strong and boasts; Java Developers, Front-End Specialists, Mobile Developers, DevOps Engineers and QA Engineers - it''s already a really well-defined team, and they are hiring across the board here as they are looking to grow.

Their ideal fit will have several years of commercial Software Engineering experience, using the Java language (ideally Spring / SpringBoot). You will also be heavily working with a Microservices Architecture, utilising both Docker and Kubernetes - so are ideally looking for Engineers that have experience or knowledge of how these tools work. The platform is hosted in AWS, so yet again experience with this would be really beneficial.

Equally as important to technical ability, the company are looking for collaborative Software Engineers - they will be basing their decisions as much on Culture fit as they do on technical ability as they are keen to hire people they feel can contribute and positively influence the team and their environment.

You''ll ideally have experience with most of the following;
** Several years using Java (ideally Java8+)
** Spring / SpringBoot
** AWS (or Azure / GCP )
** Working in Agile Environment

Experience with the following is highly beneficial;
** Microservices
** Docker, Kubernetes
** ReactJS / TypeScript - Opportunity to upskill in this!

This opportunity will suit a really driven and ambitious Software Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing FinTech Company - there is real opportunity here to have a big influence in shaping a potentially market-leading product.

In terms of salary for these roles the company are fairly open here and can offer from £30k to £70k (obviously dependent on ability and experience). On top of this, if successful, you will be given equity in the company.
