POSITION INFO:

Contract Position - 12 - 18 Months 

Our multinational client in the IT amd Telco space is looking for an experienced Project manager to manage organization of key client projects - 

This specific key account is for a client based in Western Asia .

Able to be flexiblle and taking consideration of the their time zone. 

The purpose of this role

Reporting to SVP, Operations and Delivery, the Project Manager will directly support and plan, coordinate, direct, lead, and see to delivering medium to large scale software development projects. The Project Manager will define the scope of effort required to meet objectives and provide guidance to internal team members and stakeholders through team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of applicable project management experience with demonstrated success delivering
• systems on-time in IT and/or Telecommunications sector.
• Experience in Software Development lifecycle would be considered an asset.
• Exposure to Agile or Iterative Development methodologies also considered an asset.
• Proven verbal and written business communication skills
• High degree of problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to lead and assign tasks for project teams
• Proven experience with client management and direct client interactions.
• Self-motivated and objective oriented.
• Ability to work well as a part of a PMO team to negotiate on timelines and priorities.
• Previous experience working in/with a Retail POS or other retail software experience would be an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop project objectives based on predefined customer strategy
• Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project
• Manage resources and materials committed to the project
• Provide direction and decision making for problem resolution
• Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes
• Coordinate, approve and track all project related expenses
• Assess and manage risk of strategic, technical, financial, political and/or business factors facing the project
• Coordinate across all corporate and regional departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality product and service deliverables to the project
• Act as a primary interface between company and the customer project team
• Report progress in writing on a weekly basis. Identify internal and external factors jeopardizing the project, escalate issues and recommend solutions stakeholders.
• Analyze, review, and forecast project spending in collaboration with Accounting.
• Coordinate post project review of policies and procedures employed with a view to improve future 
• Complete postmortem project reviews 
• Work with appropriate Customer Success Manager to ensure internal stakeholders are well versed in all project risks and customer issues.
