Our client is seeking a highly capable Software Sales Manager to lead and manage their sales team, with a core focus on selling complex technical products and services. This role acts as a critical link between technical expertise and customer needs, driving revenue growth through solution-based sales, client engagement, and close collaboration with engineering and product development teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to identify new opportunities and drive revenue.

• Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and tailor appropriate solutions.

• Present complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to various audiences.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvement.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

• Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.

• Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential revenue streams.

• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts to support business planning.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Matric (Senior Certificate)

• A tertiary qualification in Business Management will be advantageous

Experience

• 5–7 years in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within a technology-driven or product-oriented environment

• Proven success in managing and scaling a high-performing sales team

• Track record in technical sales or product-based solution selling

• Exposure to home loan processes will be advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and customer relationships
