SUMMARY:
Build the Future of Clean Energy with Us! We’re looking for a driven Civil Engineer to join a pioneering solar infrastructure team.

POSITION INFO:
Be part of a team that’s reshaping South Africa’s energy landscape—one solar project at a time. From commercial rooftops to large-scale ground-mounted systems, your work will power schools, farms, malls, and communities with clean, reliable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze foundations, steel structures, and mounting systems for solar projects.
Conduct structural calculations for wind and load resistance (especially for carports, trackers, and rooftops).
Visit project sites to perform inspections, surveys, and quality checks.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to bring solar projects from concept to completion.
Ensure that all work complies with SANS codes and relevant municipal/structural regulations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering.
3+ years of relevant experience (preferably with solar, structural, or steel-based projects).
Proficient in AutoCAD and at least one structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or Robot).
Familiarity with civil standards, construction methods, and geotechnical fundamentals.
ECSA registration (or working toward it) is a strong plus.
Valid driver's license for site visits.
