Solar Designer/Draughtsman (Homer) – Stellenbosch - R25,000-R30,000 CTC

POSITION INFO:

Solar Designer/Draughtsman (Homer) – Stellenbosch - R25,000-R30,000 CTC

Responsibilities:

Calculation of string and inverter configurations, and structural layouts of modules on rooftops and ground mounts.

Work closely with the sales team to assist with the initial design on Homer.

Need to have excellent Excel skills – should be able to analyze for the design and propose solutions.

Collaboration with the Engineering Department on solutions for design flaws or problems,

Determine design criteria or specifications.

Ensure all administrative and design tasks meet the deadlines are kept up to date and accurately carried out.

Recommend technical design or process changed to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.

Should have experience with PV Solar and Homer.

Have very good communication skills.
