They also have a team of installers and artisans who piece it all together.

The Role: Solar Energy Technical Engineer (Diploma or BTech)

The role exists to act as the execution specialist and the bridge between design and reality. It contributes to the business by bringing large-scale solar and SCADA control systems to life on-site. The main focus areas are the practical implementation, testing, commissioning, and hands-on management of massive industrial, commercial, and utility-scale renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of the practical implementation, testing, and commissioning of massive industrial renewable projects.

• Bring large-scale solar and SCADA control systems to life on-site.

• Travel to diverse project sites across Africa, managing hands-on engineering challenges in real-time.

• Collaborate with partners and local teams to ensure European-standard execution on African soil.

• Work directly with the business owners to execute utility-scale solar projects.

About You

• National Diploma or a BTech in Electrical Engineering from a technical college.

• Valid passport and a readiness to travel to site locations across Africa.

• Ability to speak passionately, clearly, and deeply about solar technology.

• Passion for renewable energy and large-scale solar technology over residential setups.

• Hands-on work ethic and a preference for practical application over theory.
