POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Lead the design and engineering of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications for solar PV arrays, inverters, and associated electrical systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate solar PV systems with existing substations and electrical infrastructure.
Perform technical analyses and simulations to optimize system design, energy production, and grid integration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices for solar PV installations and substations.
Provide technical support during project implementation, including commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in solar PV and substations to inform design decisions and project planning.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Proven experience in solar PV design and engineering, with specific expertise in substations.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, substations, and grid integration principles.
Proficiency in CAD software and PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for solar PV and substations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability in all aspects of project design and implementation.
