SUMMARY:
Great opportunity for a Solar PV Design Engineer to work on exciting commercial projects. In this role, you will work on projects ranging from 100KW to 100MW and be responsible for design and site inspections.

POSITION INFO:

Solar PV systems design

Working on projects from 100KW to 100MW

Performing Energy Yield Analysis using Helioscope & PVSyst

Determining suitable system size/requirements using load profile and energy bills

Conducting site inspections and ensuring construction is done as per design specifications

Reviewing tender documentation

Skills & Experience:

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)

Experience conducting Site inspections and dealing with subcontractors

Must have experience dealing with clients

Proficient in helioscope or similar software

Experience working in commercial, residential and Industrial is advantageous

Solid understanding of Regulations

Experience with rooftop and ground mount design is advantageous

Minimum 2 – 4 years’ experience in the solar industry

Qualification:

BSc / BEng / BTech Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering

Valid drivers’ license

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
