We’re on the lookout for a Solar PV Draughtsman to bring solar projects to life; you’ll be turning concepts into detailed layouts that power real change.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
We’re looking for a self-motivated draughtsman to join a growing renewable energy company. You'll work closely with engineers to create detailed civil and mechanical drawings, draft solar module layouts, design inverter stations and buildings, plan component placement, and develop accurate cable routing details. Having electrical knowledge will be advantageous.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Proficient in AutoCAD for accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings
Able to calculate dimensions and determine material specifications
Skilled in revising technical drawings based on feedback and updates
Collaborates effectively with engineers to meet design requirements
Comfortable working with multiple disciplines on projects
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualification:
Grade 12 certificate or Technical N3 Matric Certificate
N4 / N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice or National Certificate

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
