Are you passionate about renewable energy, technical precision, and delivering quality that lasts? We're looking for a Solar QC Inspector to uphold excellence in the design, fabrication, and installation of solar PV systems across South Africa.
This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with hands-on experience in solar mounting structures and electrical PV installations who’s ready to make a meaningful impact in the clean energy space.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify the quality of solar PV installations — from mounting systems to electrical connections.
Monitor fabrication and assembly of structural components.
Perform field inspections on DC/AC wiring, inverters, junction boxes, and combiner panels.
Conduct system tests (polarity, insulation, performance) in line with IEC and SANS standards.
Identify and report non-conformances and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure documentation is complete and accurate for client handover.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
2–5 years of experience in solar PV installations or quality inspection.
Strong knowledge of SANS 10142, IEC 62446, and industry safety standards.
Competency in reading and interpreting solar designs, technical drawings, and schematics.
Familiarity with tools like multimeters, torque wrenches, insulation testers, etc.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
PV GreenCard or relevant SAPVIA certification
Experience in both C&I and utility-scale solar projects
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and working within a QMS framework
