SUMMARY:
Join a growing renewable energy team where your technical expertise directly impacts system performance and sustainability.

We’re looking for a hands-on Solar Technician experienced in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) systems to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of operational sites.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Monitor & Optimise solar/BESS performance
Preventative & corrective maintenance
Electrical fault finding & repairs
System upgrades & technical support
Site callouts & field operations

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 4–5 years’ solar PV / BESS experience
Strong electrical & fault-finding skills
Comfortable working at heights
Willingness to travel and attend callouts when required
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, grounding, wiring regulations, and power distribution
Experience working with transformers, switchgear, and protection systems

Qualification:

Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Essential)
Wireman’s License (Advantageous)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
