Solar installations technician

Our solar installations client in Johannesburg is looking for a Solar installation’s technician with at least 5 years’ experience in residential and commercial solar installations.
Requirements
PV greencard or PQRS certificate
Minimum of 5 years’ experience on Solar PV installations in South Africa
Code 8 driver’s license, Pdp will be an added advantage
Experience in Ground mount and Carport PV installation will be an added advantage
Excellent communication skills, ability to read Single line Diagrams and Structure layout drawings
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines and with a highly skilled Senior Project engineer
Good sound knowledge of SMA, Victron Fronius and Goodwe inverters
Experience in Tesvolt, BYD and FreedomWon battery

Responsibilities
Mounting of solar PV modules, Inverters, batteries and cable trunking
Module interconnections, stringing, pulling cable, AC termination, earthing terminations and DC terminations
Installation of walkways on commercial installations, structure assembly
HSE duties, like Daily safe task instructions and incident reports
Commissioning of sites and helping with COC testing
