Solution Architect SAP PI

SUMMARY:
A leading and global luxury automotive group is currently in search of appointing a Solution Architect SAP PI. This position will be based in East London.

Job Purpose
To improve efficiency, reduce waste, identify and implement solutions, meet project deadlines and accurately document the necessary requirements to be done in accordance with local / global strategic planning and standards in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations

POSITION INFO:
Qualification and Experience

• Minimum NQF 7 – BSC/BCom/BTech in Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering or Computer Science or relevant equivalent 
• 5+ years'' experience designing and building applications
• Experience working on complex software projects
  

Technologies and Practices

• IT Development and System knowledge
• Proficient in IT Infrastructure / hardware topics such as Networks, Storage, Interfaces
• Understanding in DevOps principles (Scrum Master or Agile Methodology Training)
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Demonstrated business acumen to take from design to implementation and preferably experience scaling a concept
• Must have an excellent ability to multi-task effectively working on several projects synchronously
• Ability to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the function
• Create and publish knowledge base articles and contribute to knowledge management activities (Learning Culture)
• Communication and contact partner for data providers of each interface for installations or troubleshooting
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

Desirables (Not essential but would be valuable)

• Web Services – XML, SOAP, REST, oneAPI (DAIMLER), etc.
• Experience with Messaging Technologies / like SAP PI, Axway-CFT central governance, IBM MQ-Series, SFTP – or similar)
• Experience in SAP ALE, IDOC, SAP-PROXY – integration/setup
• Programming experience / background (Java, JavaScript, XSLT

? Experience working on complex software projects etc.)
? Basic knowledge SAP-AIF (Add-on)
