Solutions Architect - Contract

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, competitive rates, exposure and an excellent working environment.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for helping us deliver our business solutions to our customers. This will involve working with developers and engineers on the design of new applications or customisations. You should have an interest in applying your knowledge of IT systems to projects that are high risk, require significant innovation, and require a great deal of creativity.

Requirements

• Provides the vision for a successful Information Technology (IT) project, determining what is required
• Architecture Principles
• Partner with ICS and the business to define the technical requirements, principles, and models that generally guide all solution decisions for the ecosystem.
• Architectural Blueprint
• Responsible for analysing and translating business, information, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives.
• Develop roadmaps that outline how solutions will be structured in the future.
• Architecture Security Principles
• Develop and implement enterprise information security architectures and solutions.
• Architectural Recommendations
• Provide design recommendations based on long-term development organisation strategy
• Architectural Re-Use
• Development of infrastructure technology principles, standards, and patterns that can be highly leveraged across multiple solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree NQF level 7
• Experience with implementation and support of Solutions Architecture within an Enterprise
• TOGAF certified
