Set within South Africa’s oldest barn, our restaurant offers an elegant, immersive dining experience where heritage meets contemporary cuisine. With creative, wine-led tasting menus, meticulous presentation, and storytelling service, we celebrate the beauty of seasonal produce in a sophisticated yet authentic setting.
We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our passionate culinary team. This role is ideal for a dynamic, disciplined, and innovative chef who thrives in fine dining and is ready to support and lead at the highest level.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
Uphold and elevate culinary standards with precision and artistry.
Lead, inspire, and train junior chefs to ensure seamless teamwork.
Ensure consistency in flavours, presentation, and service excellence.
Champion the use of seasonal, local produce in every dish.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment.
Strong leadership skills with a calm, organised, and solution-focused approach.
A passion for creativity, precision, and culinary storytelling.
Excellent knowledge of wine pairings and menu balance (advantageous).
