A Healing Retreat based close to Franschhoek is looking for a Spa Therapist to provide a holistic wellness through treatments like massages, facials and body wraps, focusing on personalized client care, creating a tranquil environment, maintaining hygiene and recommending products, requiring strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of treatments and teamwork to ensure a restorative guest experience.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Assess client needs, explain treatments, and tailor services for a personalized experience.
Perform various spa therapies (massages, facials, body treatments, aromatherapy) according to set standards.
Prepare treatment rooms, maintain pristine cleanliness, and adhere to health/safety regulations.
Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere, manage appointment schedules efficiently, and offer product recommendations.
Understand spa products to effectively advise clients and upsell services.
Work with other staff to offer holistic wellness and contribute to the spa's overall service.

Requirements:

Recognized Spa or Beauty Therapy Qualification.
Previous experience in a luxury hospitality spa environment
A keen interest in health & wellness
Knowledge of products and protocols.
Strong understanding of hygiene and safety procedures.
Exceptional customer service skills in a high-end setting.
Familiarity with in-room spa equipment and guest amenities.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
