SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Spares Supervisor for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Gqeberha.
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
- Supervisor would be responsible for leading a team of Spares Administrators.
- Preparing of quotations for Customers.
- Loading sales orders upon receiving Customer Purchase Order(s).
- Creating Invoices / Delivery Notes for Customers and e-mailing said invoices.
- Communication of price or product changes.
- Arrange collections for local and international shipments.
- Follow up on late deliveries.
- Ensure Delivery of POD is received and loaded on SAP.
- Assisting in internal and external audits related to Spare department.
- Conducting customer analysis on a 6 month basis - to ensure continuous improvement (Customer Audits, Customer rating, classifications etc.)
- Handling all customer queries / disputes - quality issues, pricing, poor workmanship.
- Drafting and issuing of official letters relating to disputes, supplier audits etc.
- Monthly stock takes at various locations (Port Elizabeth, Midrand & East London).
- Year End stock take with external and internal auditors.
- Writing off obsolete stock.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to internally.
- Good knowledge of the SAP system.
- Execute any other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 3 to 5 years' experience in logistics
- Experience in stock control
- Knowledge in the use of shipping and courier services advantageous
- MS Office - Outlook, excellent Excel skills
- SAP or similar ERP system experience would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise activities - working to defined systems
- Accounting background advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Resourcefulness
- Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience in leading / supervising a team
- Drivers license
