Specialist Electrician (Electronics) Ref: 2886

In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and breakdown maintenance on factory equipment.

Matric, an N4 technical qualification and an Electrician’s red seal trade test certificate are basic academic and qualification prerequisites for this position.

Ideally candidates should have 10+ years’ experience in an engineering or maintenance role, as well as a background working with industrial equipment (compressors, chillers, cooling towers, hydraulic presses, etc.). Excellent knowledge of PLCs and drives is a must!

A wireman’s license and the ability to do CNC programming would be highly advantageous.

Must be available to work extended hours and shifts as required.

An action-orientated individual with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills would be well-suited to this position.
