SUMMARY:
An established and proudly South African insurance company that is active in the Life, Funeral and Savings market is seeking to appoint a Specialist: Server Administration who will be responsible for managing Azure Cloud, Microsoft on premises and VMWare Server infrastructure.

POSITION INFO:
Essential requirements to be considered for an interview:

Grade 12
National Diploma in Information Technology
A+ and N+
MCSE 2016
Exchange 2016
Sharepoint 2016
Azure Administrator
ITIL V3 Foundation
Driver’s licence and own reliable transport essential
5 years’ experience as a server administrator
6 years’ experience in an IT environment

Brief role description:
The Server Administrator will be responsible for the design, provision, installation/ configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The Server Administrator will have the capability and understanding of applications such as VMWare 7, Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019 and Azure cloud environments, in order to recommend and utilize appropriate toolsets as per business requirements.

This role will suit a professional who meets all the skill and knowledge requirements with 5 years experience in a similar role. This role is based in Menlyn.
