JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Specialist Technician (sustainable energy) that will provide technical support to customers relevant to the specific area/discipline as well as assisting Sales department with related enquiries and solutions architecture. The technician is also responsible for servicing, testing and repairs of equipment that could include inverters; solar panels and peripherals, UPSs, as well as monitors and/or other related equipment and components depending on the requirements of the position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications and Experience

Matric
At least 2 year’s sales administration experience.

Experience within ICT industry would be advantageous

Knowledge

Application of special regulations such as the Building Regulations of South Africa (SANS 10400) and associated South African National Standards (SANS 10142-1 (Edition 2).
Good knowledge of internal quality procedures
Knowledge of ICT industry
Product offering software and hardware technical knowledge

Computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills
