SUMMARY:
An internal vacancy exists for two (2) Specialized Team Members in the Mining Division based in Harmony Gold – West Wits Operations

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

POSITION INFO:

Conduct special surface and underground operations.
Tactically respond to incidents on surface and underground.
Escorting of employees into underground operations.
Observe employees/contractors working inside high-risk areas.
Observation duties at high-risk areas.
Gathering of intelligence on illegal activities.

The suitable candidate shall have the following qualifications/attributes/skills:

PSIRA certification - Grade A
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Must be able to pass all underground medical requirements.
Underground experience of a Gold mine is compulsory.
Business, Firearm competency handgun, shotgun and self-loading rifle.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
The ability to work under pressure.
Willing to work long hours when required doing so.
Willing to work extended night shifts.
Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
Drivers licence and driving competent.
Valid Code 10 driver’s license will be an advantage.
Must relocate to company provided accommodation.
