SUMMARY:
Calling all Statutory Accountants seeking an opportunity in the retail industry!

POSITION INFO:
We’re on the hunt for a top-tier Statutory Accountant to join one of the fastest-growing leaders in South African retail. This is more than just a numbers role — it’s a chance to influence strategy, drive compliance, and bring precision to complexity in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

Duties:

Prepare statutory financials aligned with IFRS and legal standards
Ensure tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT, etc.)
Lead audit processes and manage queries
Monitor evolving legislation and reporting requirements
Ensure timely statutory submissions and regulatory compliance
Strengthen internal controls and align financial operations with company policies

Education and Experience:

CA(SA)
Minimum 1+ year post-articles experience
Strong academic background (first-time board passes & distinctions)
Detail-oriented, analytically sharp, and commercially aware
Retail sector experience preferred, but top talent from any industry will be considered
