SUMMARY:
Statutory Accountant: Manager

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the Director, Technical Accounting this role will be responsible for the management of the statutory accounts process.

Establish a robust and standardised process for the accurate and timely delivery of the network’s statutory financial statements (circa 80 legal entities) across the globe.

Co-ordinate and deliver the process to ensure all local legal and regulatory deadlines are met.

Review and comment on all statutory financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant GAAP and local legislation.

Support timely resolution of investor and board of director requests in relation to the statutory financial statements.

Continuous improvement of statutory financial statement process

Support the Director, Technical Accounting with ad hoc project requests.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with excellent accounting knowledge and experience working with multinational organisations.
- Relevant exposure to statutory financial statement reporting
- Experience of IFRS, US GAAP and UK GAAP
- Experience in establishing and maintaining process and controls
