Our client in the Retail industry is looking for a Stock Clerk to join their team based in Cape Town, Constantia.

Overall Job Purpose:

Our client sources, curates, and sells beautiful hand-crafted Indian textiles and home furnishings via their Online shop, Retail Spaces, and Pop-up events. They are looking for a special person who will ensure that stock is readily available for customer purchase on all business levels, resulting in effective and efficient operation of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure that there is correct information re stock levels and movement.
• Participate in perpetual stock takes.
• Move, pack and maintain stock.
• Stock to be consistently stored in an organized fashion on a daily basis.
• Perform any work-related task as delegated by superior.
• Be in control of all Stock Movement in and out the store – Receive, pack and dispatch wholesale, Ecommerce and Retail orders.
• Ensure that goods are correctly priced.
• Manage courier collections - Responsible for courier relationship and maintenance.
• Responsible for online order discrepancies

Experience/Qualification Requirements:

• Matric or Equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in the industry
• 2 years’ experience int stock related function
• 2 Years minimum experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) at all levels.
• Ability to handle pressure.
• Computer skills – Microsoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
• Time management skills
• Numerically skilled
• Valid driver’s license

Position: Full-time 

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Constantia

Salary Range: R7 000-R9 500
