SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the electrical manufacturing and solar distribution sector, is seeking a qualified and experienced Stock Controller & Receiving professional to join their team in George. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient management of stock and the accurate handling of incoming goods.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with storage and safety regulations.
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Generate inventory and stock movement reports.
- Assist with the development and implementation of improved stock control procedures.
Requirements:- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in stock control and receiving.
- Previous experience in the electrical or solar industry is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of inventory systems and stock control processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
