A leading furniture manufacturer situated in the South of Johannesburg is seeking to employ and Administrator/Stock Controller

Overview:

This position requires an individual who can act independently with a retail background and with strong management, sales and customer service experience.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 2 years+ experience in retail – Sales / Administration
• Computer proficiency: EXCEL (advance) non-negotiable
• Fully bilingual
• Must be result driven with a sense of urgency, a problem solver with an analytical mind-set with good inter-personal skills.
• Furniture stock control experience.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• All sales orders received are captured and expedited in real time.
• Enter correct purchase details (customer details, pricing, stock description) when invoicing.
• Stock are physically checked out of warehouse with security as correct quantities and description.
• Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed. (Daily)
• Liaising with warehouses and distribution on special arrangements on stock (F2, FS).
• Assist clients with telephonic Orders, Product requests and Pricing.
• Assisting with printing of Invoices, quotes and orders.
• Check the accuracy and completeness of stock received from warehouse/suppliers against purchase order.
• All back sales orders be tracked on daily basis.
• Assisting Factory Shop Manager and Sales consultant on daily requests
• Customers POD’s are obtained and filed numerically.
• Liaising with distribution / Security on daily basis with regards to deliveries locally
