JOB SUMMARY:

An established processor and distributor of fresh produce is seeking the above to be responsible for the effective coordination of the company’s fruit and vegetable products between suppliers, head office and Distribution Centres within the framework of the working capital management objectives and the customer focus requirements of the Company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a National Senior Certificate or equivalent
2 – 3 Years’ experience within a stock or inventory control position is essential
Previous experience in perishable products would be preferred
Must have effective planning and organization skills
Strong communication skills, including written and verbal are important
Good MS Office skills, including Pastel experience will be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Responsible for inventory control management for multiple warehouses nationally.
Liaising with 3PL transport companies and management of deliveries from the warehouses to the customers nationally.
Preparing weekly reconciliations of stock at the various warehouses.
Coordinating sales orders by capturing orders on Pastel.
Collating and forwarding order documents and invoices to customers.
Managing customer complaints due to packaging/ warehouse/transit errors.
Managing stock returns.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
