JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a leading engineering and industrial component supplier, seeks to employ a well experienced and competent Stock Controller for their branch in Vredendal, assisting the branch with stock control measures.

Please note that the suitable candidate must have experience in dealing with engineering parts, components and consumables and be physically fit to be able to work hands on in a stores environment moving stock and boxes

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

You will have completed Matric, coupled with 2-3 years experience in stock control, stock reporting and variance accountability specifically in the engineering sector.
You will have proven experience in managing stock counts lists, preparing stock schedules and inventory investigations.
You will have proficiency on Excel and ideally, K8 software
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
