Storeman

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 2+ years’ experience within the same or similar role
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, armed forces industry
• Must be computer literate with Pastel experience
• Working hours: Monday – Friday – 07:30 – 16:00

Duties will be, but are not limited to:

• Housekeeping in stores
• Receipting of goods according to purchase orders
• Issuing of goods as requested
• Handing out and collecting back tools
• Inspection of incoming goods according to purchase order
• Packing of goods in store
• Allocating bin locations in stores
• Ensuring availability of consumables and fasteners
• Record stock movements
• Stock takes and control of stock
• Improvements in stocking methods
• Update stock lists
• Capturing goods received on Pastel
