JOB SUMMARY:
An opportunity has arisen for a Stores Team Leader with our client in the automotive sector, based in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Lead the team to meet mission, vision and values of the Company
Lead the team to meet and/or exceed the daily/weekly QSCM targets
Creates an empowered team which makes decisions and solves problems (suggestions and continuous improvement)
Ensure FIFO
Demands improved service from suppliers
Looks for ways to improve service to customers and knows customer rating
Maintain and manage health, safety, environmental and ergonomic standards
Provide on the job training to subordinates
Management of subordinates (attendance, absence control, discipline)

Requirements:

NQF 4 (Minimum)
2 years’ leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Automotive warehousing experience (ADVANTAGEOUS)
Valid forklift License ( ADVANTAGEOUS)
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
A working knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Management System
