Position Overview:

A leading multinational medical devices manufacturing company is offering a unique opportunity for a Strategic Digital Catalyst and Business Partner to guide and accelerate the company’s and healthcare digital transformation in Africa. This position is based in Midrand, Gauteng.

The company is seeking to appoint a candidate with experience working at a senior level in a lean network, a versatile leader that can co-create patient journey maps and be involved in the implementation of projects when required.

The Strategic Digital Catalyst and Business Partner will be responsible to collaborate with leadership teams and external ecosystems’ partners to define objectives and strategy, identify opportunities, and determine priorities. Implement change to positively evolve functional capabilities and strengthen the company’s impact.

One must stay abreast of emergent technologies, methodologies, and external guidelines to proactively create opportunities and value for the business.

The Strategic Digital Catalyst and Business Partner will lead or contribute significantly to functional, cross-functional, enterprise-wide or external initiatives and capability building activities, including but not limited to: customer engagement and experience, data or personalized healthcare communities, collaborations or initiatives focusing on innovation, policy-shaping, patient journey, etc.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required

Minimum Requirements:

A completed degree, NQF 7 within the Health, Science, or Information technology field.
Experience in the Digital space and have been a recognized catalyst and influencer on (at least) one of the following domains: Customer experience (CX), Omni-channel strategies, Health Real World Data, Personalized Healthcare, Advanced Analytics.
Working as part of a diverse, cross-functional team
Experience in Change management and working with agile methodologies
Comfortable in executive presence and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and manage the external vendor partnership
Experience in proposals and methodology development and experience working in a squad environment.
Data exposure and ability to identify digital interventions
