JOB SUMMARY:
Consulting Engineers based in Centurion is looking for a well experienced Structural Steel and RC draftsman to assist with Industrial buildings & Industrial plant designs. Company services the petrochemical and Mining Industry. Well established Client base with solid skills in Micro Station

JOB DESCRIPTION:

STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN (Reinforced Concrete and Structural steel)

Centurion
Well established Consulting company. Structural draftsman required with experience in structural drafting for steel, concrete, masonry and composite materials.

Will assist Civil Engineering team in producing technical drawings based on rough sketches, specifications and calculations from engineers. will work closely with other drafters, design engineers and clients
Will assist with reports, calculate material amounts and costs and prepare construction specifications and timelines.
Qualification:
National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting Certificate
Experience required
5-10 years as a draftsperson in a consulting company/ Project Engineering company
Responsibilities:

Drawings in AutoCAD and MicroStation
Assist with Structural Design
Specialized designs for structures to consider seismic, blast resistant and other dynamic
Engineering Drafting of structural steel, concrete and masonry
Foundation Engineering
Concrete Technology
Concrete Rehabilitation
Corrosion Protection
Building Structural Design and Specifications
Doing Industrial building designs -mainly Structural Steel and Reinforced concrete
