SUMMARY:
A leading consulting engineering firm in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Professional Structural Engineer (PrEng) to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with project leadership experience who enjoys delivering innovative structural solutions across commercial and industrial developments.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Lead structural engineering projects from design through to completion Design and review reinforced concrete and structural steel structures Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices Skills & Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience in structural engineering consulting Proven experience with commercial and industrial building projects Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design Experience managing projects and leading engineering teams Proficient in Prokon and finite element analysis software Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and own reliable transport Qualification: BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Contact MALIEKA DAWOOD on , quoting the Ref: CTE028538.
