Structural Rebar Detailer (Revit Specialist)

SUMMARY:
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural Rebar Detailer to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Revit detailing experience, including the development of Revit templates, detailing standards, and bending schedules for reinforced concrete structures.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Produce accurate rebar detailing drawings and bending schedules
• Develop and maintain Revit templates, standards, and workflows
• Create 2D and 3D reinforcement models using Revit and AutoCAD
• Generate material take-offs and steel quantity estimates
• Ensure compliance with SANS standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver quality documentation

• Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in structural rebar detailing
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with rebar scheduling software (Probar, Padds, or similar)
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete detailing and bending schedules
• Knowledge of SANS 282 and industry best practices

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant Draughting or Structural Detailing qualification advantageous
