JOB SUMMARY:
Do you have minimum three years as a draughtsman in the steel sector using MSOffice and TEKLA.

Our client based in Epping is requiring your expertise to join their highly successful team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12
Multi-disciplinary Draughtsman certificate
MS Office software, TEKLA, Company policies & procedures, 2D draughting & 3D modelling
3 -5 years’ experience in a similar role
AutoCAD and Fabtrol knowledge will be an advantage
Accuracy
Attention to detail
Excellent time management
Problem solving skills

DUTIES

Develop construction methodology
Design basic connections
Conduct site inspections and measurements
Create workshop fabrication drawings
Finalise erection drawings
Conduct self-audit and quality control
Issue drawings to relevant parties
Assist junior team members where required
Provide solutions and assistance for the workshop, site and clients/service providers
Attend to client queries
Maintain clients’ relationships
Maintain an effective filing system (electronic & hard copies)
Archive all filing
Conduct backup
Ensure all correspondence recorded and filed
Maintain timekeeping
Assist with tenders and estimates

Salary: R dependent on experience
