SUMMARY:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS role will be based in the DRC on a FIFO BASIS Purpose of the role : To provide a full cost accounting function to the operation.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Degree

At least 3 years'' experience in a financial department in a mining environment;
Good knowledge of creditors, cashbook, materials management, payroll and costing models
Must have advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Office packages as well as a known financial operating system;
Any Delta experience would be an advantage to the applicant;
Have an enquiring mind and the ability to work independently under pressure;
Language proficiency (English) and French will be advantageous.
Ability to organise and prioritise

Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, investigate and maintain efficient cost control systems;
Cost and management accounting exposure;
Assisting with annual budget preparation;
Cost reporting;
Legal compliance;
Leading special projects to evaluate control measures and propose suitable solutions.
Audits compliance and standards
