Supervisor – Corporate Car Rental

SUMMARY:

Our client is an International Car Rental Agency based at the Cape Town International Airport.
They require an effective problem-solver who can liaise in English and Afrikaans to take care of operational and staff requirements.
 
Valid South African driver’s license is compulsory.
 
This role requires working shifts, including weekends.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
• Valid driver’s license compulsory
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience managing staff
• Ability to do SHIFT WORK
• Clear CREDIT record on the credit bureau
• Computer literate in Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task in a pressurised environment
• Essential to be very well groomed and spoken
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

• Addressing customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints
• Handle escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Training, scheduling, and supervising rental agents and other staff members
• Oversee the fleet of rental vehicles
• Ensure that rental vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee compliance with insurance policies and rental agreements
• Manage vehicle reservations and allocations when short-staffed
• Negotiating contracts with corporate clients when required
• Administrative duties include preparing reports, managing rental agreements etc
