SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Supervisor: Allergan Production in Malmesbury.
Responsible for supervising the end-to-end production process of value-added meat products, ensuring quality, productivity, food safety, hygiene, and compliance with operational standards.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Production Management Supervise production processes including grinding, mixing, filling, packing, wrapping, and labelling. Ensure products meet quality, appearance, packing, and labelling standards. Implement and maintain efficient production procedures and processes. Manage stock rotation and inventory control within the production area. Monitor hygiene standards and compliance with food safety requirements. Identify and report quality or maintenance non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Ensure production targets, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. People Management Supervise and coordinate production staff to meet daily targets. Manage employee attendance and performance. Apply disciplinary procedures where required. Promote positive employee relations and a productive work environment. SHEQ Compliance Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Enforce correct use of PPE. Maintain personal and product hygiene standards at all times. Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 \/ Matric. Experience 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or food production environment. Previous supervisory experience advantageous. Skills & Competencies Production and process management. Technical and operational knowledge. Planning and organizational skills. Decision-making ability. Systems-oriented approach. Computer literacy. Strong leadership and people management skills. Additional Requirements Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to the Cape Town\/Malmesbury area at their own cost if currently based elsewhere.
