Supplier Replenishment Analyst

They are currently seeking a Supplier Replenishment Analyst (SRA) to join their dynamic team based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses.

• Initiate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Develop and execute replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and other relevant factors.

• Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and market conditions to identify improvement areas.

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order or shipment issues.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and communication channels.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, warehouse, and logistics.
• Communicate proactively with suppliers regarding replenishment strategies and performance.

• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, fill rates, and other KPIs.
• Provide actionable insights to support management decisions.

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce costs.

• Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate data and replenishment schedules.

• Address stock-outs, overstocks, and supply chain disruptions efficiently.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to resolve issues related to inventory and supply chain operations.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• SAP experience is essential.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management practices, and forecasting methodologies.
• FMCG industry experience is essential.
