JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a position available at one of our clients based in Centurion for a Supply Chain Administrator, the role is remote but will require frequent periods of working at the office  to manage the stock and receive deliveries from suppliers.

 

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 3+ years' experience in a Supply Chain role
  • Valid drives license and own transport 
  • Fluent English both verbal and written
  • High level of computer competence with a knowledge of standard software packages (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills) and the ability to learn company-specific software
  • Live in or close to Centurion

Other requirements:

  • Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services.

Responsibilities: 

  • The Supply Chain Administrator will be involved within the day-to-day operations environment.
  • The candidate will manage interactions with suppliers ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • The candidate will manage new/ existing stock orders from suppliers to fulfil customer demand and maintaining service levels, they will also co-ordinate any deliveries from suppliers and be onsite to receive stock orders.
  • The Supply Chain Administrator will manage the distribution of stock and management of stock levels in various locations
  • They will coordinate and hold all suppliers and service departments within these teams accountable for carrying out the required processes and tasks in the management of our supply chain.
  • The candidate will ensure that regular follow-ups with suppliers and feedback is provided to the Service Delivery Team
  • They will manage the resolution of issues where stock does not arrive exactly as it should
  • Assist in streamlining Stock Management processes and procedures to ensure Supply Chain Processes are consistent globally. This may involve collaboration with other members of the wider team.
  • The Supply Chain Administrator will also liaise with the Finance Team to ensure that all invoices for orders are correctly received.
  • Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company’s quality requirements
  • Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
  • The Candidate will communicate informed risks within the business to key stakeholders
  • They will also prepare reports presentations on the management of stock in line with agreed stock levels
  • Assisting in the achievement of company objectives and KPIs
  • The Candidate will also where required assist the Service Delivery team with the preparation and delivery of large client orders
