JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Management Officer based in Groutville.

Requirements:

A degree or National diploma in Supply Chain Management or a National Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
2 to 3 years’ experience working in supply chain management.
Experience working with procurement and tenders.
A valid driver’s license.
Intermediate computer literacy.
Experience working with Pastel.
Sound knowledge of:
- The Public Finance Management Act.
- National Treasury regulations.
- Preferential Procurement Framework Act.
- Relevant SCM legislation and guidelines
Understanding of SCM principles.

Responsibilities:

Source suppliers to meet the requirements of the company in compliance with policies and legislation.
Facilitate the procurement of goods and services for the company as per the Annual Procurement Plan.
Assist and facilitate the tender process.
Facilitate asset management.
Handle contracts and SCM registers.
