Supply Chain Management Officer

Our client has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Management Officer based in Groutville.

Requirements:

• A degree or National diploma in Supply Chain Management or a National Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience working in supply chain management.
• Experience working with procurement and tenders.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
• Experience working with Pastel.
• Sound knowledge of:
  • The Public Finance Management Act.
  • National Treasury regulations.
  • Preferential Procurement Framework Act.
  • Relevant SCM legislation and guidelines
• Understanding of SCM principles.

Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers to meet the requirements of the company in compliance with policies and legislation.
• Facilitate the procurement of goods and services for the company as per the Annual Procurement Plan.
• Assist and facilitate the tender process.
• Facilitate asset management.
• Handle contracts and SCM registers.
