Job Description:-
To ensure that all records are maintained relating to the Supply Chain Process Flow of the company
The scope is as follows:- *Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services *Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle *Coordinate the processing of all customer call offs into the MRP system - verify content and plausibility *Manage compliance to processes in all activities (purchasing, receiving, stock movement, dispatch, admin and systems) *Ensure optimum logistical performance by having the correct raw material in place, on time at the right price to support what needs to be produced *Ensure the highest customer satisfaction *Ensure “OTIF” supply to customer (On Time In Full) *Compile, implement and maintain procedures to ensure uniform operations *Ensure equipment (forklift, etc.) is being maintained and maintenance checks are done on time *Ensure accuracy of all in plant stock (goods in transit, raw material, WIP, finished goods) to records *Identify, introduce and monitor key performance indicators - report them on defined intervals *Ensure a production schedule is in place that supports what needs to be produced *Communication of customer requirements to production *Ensure dispatching meets customer call-offs *Liaison with all local and overseas suppliers including customs about Supply Chain Matters when needed *Coordinate Engineering Changes from a SCM point of view *Verify that documented processes are adhered to in defined intervals *Ensure that all direct subordinates carry out their duties and responsibilities *Coordinate the processing of all customer call offs into the MRP system - verify content and plausibility *Coordinate the Waste Management Area and be involved in the ISO 14001 audits - maintain the records *Liaise with service providers, suppliers and customers *Coordinate Engineering Changes from a SCM point of view *Ordering of the BOM-related purchases for the plant, e.g. Weld caps, etc. *Manage and develop Supply Chain team *Ensure all staff is aware of their roles and responsibilities *Train all involved staff in the relevant process flows *Enforce policies *Address problems and provide advice *Strive for continuous improvement at all times.
The successful candidate will have 26 employees reporting to him / her; this consists of:-
- Material Planner
- Production Planner
- Supply Chain Clerks
- Supply Chain Operators
Minimum Requirements:- *Relevant Degree / Diploma in Logistics Management / Warehouse Management *3 – 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment *Extensive knowledge on SAP – full logistics function *5 - 10 years' experience in a leadership role and people management *8 to 10 years in Supply Chain.
