JOB SUMMARY:
Amanzimtoti. Opportunity exists for strategic and analytically thinking Supply Chain Manager with at least 5 years relevant experience to join international concern within the Medical services industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations
Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers, monitoring, and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
Managing inventory
Following up after accidents and injuries on the floor
Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions
Ensure that inventory related activities, process and procedures are drafted and conformed as per the Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
Oversee the daily operational and activities of all inbound and outbound of inventory and ensure continuous flow in disciplines to prevent disruption in job execution
Source and benchmark alternative products to ensure business continuity
Supervises staff performance, personal development plan and ensures adherence to company policies, working instructions, and various SOP’s requirements
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience as a Supply Chain Manager, or in a similar field
Degree in Supply Chain Management
Experience working in a Medical background an advantage
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Working experience of relevant software
Strong communication skills, organizational and project management skills
Attention to detail and creative problem-solving
Good time-management skills
