JOB SUMMARY:
A global Printing Ink Manufacturer requires the above to oversee and manage every stage of the production flow, from purchasing raw materials to the delivery of the final product as well as ensure the right amount of product is made at the right time, as well as coordinate the storage of the product.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A Degree in Supply Chain or Business or Management or a related qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
Previous experience having worked as a Supply Chain Manager or in a related role working with production and materials planning and management is preferred.
Must have operation / supply chain background with a proven track record of target focused delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience working on SAP or a related ERP system is preferred.
Must have the ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships, at all levels in the Organisation.
Knowledge of HSE requirements, invoicing, transportation and material booking and dispatch and export, packaging, pallet and packaging treatment is preferred.
Must be a critical thinker and team player with problem-solving, time management and great interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy.
Collaborating with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
Determining key supply chain KPIs and suggesting solutions for process improvements.
Identifying process bottlenecks and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
Managing and overseeing stores operations as well as dispatch.
Handling stores and inventory level management and ensuring the inventories are accurate.
Managing the import/export shipments based on the timeline requirements of stakeholders.
Coordinating with other processes for continuous improvement.
Conducting risk and hazard analysis.
Managing inbound and outbound logistic operations.
Preparing MIS to procurement cost optimisation, RM trend, inventory control analysis and freight variance.
Liaising with customs/excise authorities to ensure hassle-free movements.
Ensuring all transactions are documented as per the SOP.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
