POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Qualifications and Experience: Intermediate skills and experience in managing and supporting Veritas NetBackup and Hitachi VSP 5500 storage systems. Strong experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience with storage performance monitoring and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in storage management or related fields. Experience with other storage systems and technologies. Experience with Veritas NetBackup. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for upgrading Veritas NetBackup from version 10 to version 11. Supporting and maintaining our Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment. Storage Performance Monitoring and Optimization Use your strong understanding of storage systems to troubleshoot, resolve issues and maintain storage environment efficiently. Optimise Ops Centre Storage Support Consultant Veritas Netbackup & Hitachi VSP5500 Provide day-to-day support for the Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment. Monitor storage performance and ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues. Perform regular maintenance and updates to the storage system. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation. Document processes and procedures related to storage management.
